Shocked Harry Potter's fans learn that headmaster Albus Dumbledore is gay

 

CNN.com informed the shocked Harry Potter's fans that the author JK Rowling has just revealed that one of her characters, Hogwarts school headmaster Albus Dumbledore, is gay.

From the "Dumbledore is gay, 'Harry Potter' author reveals" story we learn that during Rowling's appearance at the Carnegie Hall she was asked by one young fan whether Dumbledore finds "true love." She responded that "Dumbledore is gay," and explained that Dumbledore was in love with rival Gellert Grindelwald, and that Dumbledore's love was his "great tragedy."
