Alex Jeffreys - Who is this guy?

Who in the world is Alex Jeffreys?  I had never heard of this Alex Jeffreys guy until about a year ago.  

I came across a web page claiming that his Easy Profit Auctions product could help you build a newsletter list using the auction site, eBay.

At that time, I don't think that anyone had ever heard of Alex Jeffreys.  After all, he was not an internet marketer, he was a hard working construction worker.

Alex shares his story on his website, and it really spoke to me.  I love these success stories of the "little guy" making it big online.

Here is a little of Alex's story about how did this construction worker become a successful internet marketer?

I was working 60 hours a week in dead-end construction job, coming home with calloused, bleeding hands and a tired, aching back, and getting absolutely nowhere. My fiance would get so frustrated because all I wanted to do was collapse and zone out in front of the tube. She barely knew who the sleeping dude on the couch was.

But what was almost as horrible was the lame excuse for an "honest day's pay" these slave drivers were giving out with eyedroppers. For the toil and trouble I was putting my body (and my family) through, I couldn't even afford to move us out of the tiny little shoebox of a house we lived in.  

It Was A Living Nightmare That Never Ended...

Then one day I was messing about on the computer, trying not to think about the desperate situation I was in, when I discovered internet marketing. "Wow, this looks interesting," I thought. "Might as well give it a try--what do I have to lose?"

So with that, I dove in head first ...and guess what? Nope-- I didn't make a million dollars overnight.  Didn't even make a dollar for a while!

But I kept the faith and carried on, putting one foot in front of the other...gaining experience...subscribing to lists...and even writing a few eBooks of my own. And I made a little bit of money along the way.

However, I could never get enough traffic to my websites to really make a splash. And I didn't have hundreds of dollars a month to dump into an AdWords campaign. So I was stuck between a rock and a hard place!

Meanwhile, I has also began to dabble on eBay, selling a few things here and there and making some pocket money. And the more I delved into the eBay system, the more I became pretty good at it.

But I never saw how the power of Ebay could translate into my traffic generation efforts.    I never put two and two together...
