Who Is Alexis Bellino?
Stay-at-home mom Alexis resides in the exclusive enclave of Newport Coast, CA., with her husband Jim Bellino, a self-made entrepreneur. Alexis and Jim have three young children - four-year-old James and three-year-old twins Melania and Mackenna. Originally from the small town of Hannibal, Mo., Alexis is now living the Southern California dream in one of the most prominent and envied areas of Orange County. Alexis keeps herself busy by being the best wife and mother she can and working part time as a patient consultant for CosmetiCare. BUT, there are a few things I have learned over the past four years (since my sweet babies came into the world) and I want to share them with you!
- NEVER skip moisturizing!! It may not seem important while you're shaving your legs at lightning speed, but moisturizing your face creates the relaxed, open, healthy foundation that makeup rests on. The last thing you want to worry about is your dry skin creeping up through your fabulous makeup job!
- Preparation-H is not only for hemroids! Let me give you a little secret- if you have bags under your eyes, a tiny amount of preparation-H will shrink them! I apply it on an evening right before bed when I KNOW I'm waking up with bags under the eyes because of sick kids, or late work. Then I re-apply it that next morning prior to makeup application. It REALLY works!! (Don't use this as an every day routine. I only do this method for emergencies!)
- Meet your new best friend- Mr. Under-eye Concealer! If you're an overworked, or simply tired mom (all of us, right!) then a saving grace for you is the concealer. I use Bye-Bye Undereye - it's the best and I've tried them ALL! If you're extra tired, add a few dabs around the upper bridge of your nose and smooth in to create a shadow- this is another little trick to brighten your eyes!
- You MUST own Urban Decay "Surreal Skin Cream to Powder Foundation." This stuff is my save-all! It goes on quickly like foundation, but it's a powder application, so it's quick and easy and SIMPY FABULOUS! I use it every morning when I'm running late to get kids to school. If there is only ONE thing I have time to apply, it is this product
- MASCARA, mascara and more mascara! My favorite mascara is YSL's Faux mascara in black! It thickens, separates and lengthens the most of any other mascara I know!
- Lipgloss is not only for your daughters! You SO don't have time for lip liners, stains, etc as you are running out the door for school, soccer, dance and errands! Pick out a gloss that works for any occasion, slap some on, and keep a tube of it in your purse.
You're done! Now, this may not be your look for the Oscars, but it gets you through lunches and dinners and you did it in like three minutes! With kids in-tow, this makes you a SUPER MOM!

So what are Alexis's diet and workout secrets? She exercises 4-6 hours a week doing different activities to minimize boredom.
"Currently I do Pure Barre 1-2 days a week, run 5 miles 3-4 days a week, do yoga and spin one day a week, and lift weights one day," she blogs.
Adds Alexis: "I change it up often though...I get bored so easily and I am constantly looking for new ways to work out and still have fun!" She also admits she's a picky eater who watches her diet religiously.

- i am sending this to you because i feel that the other housewives have been very mean to you. I think your amazing and the line of clothing is wonderful. The outfit i love the most was the dress yoiu cut the arms off. It was so much better without them. I was wondering how much that dress would cost. Not that i could afford it. Keep your head up and be yourself, if the others cant see how wonderful and down to earth you are its their loss. I am Sandi a 57 year old grandma from New York.
