Alexz Johnson

Prior to Instant Star Alexz Johnson was probably best known for her role on Disney's So Weird. The people who don't recall that appearance almost always remember her for appearance in the Thriller/Horror Final Destination 3 where she got an ugly death.

Once Instant Star came about her own star really took off. It allowed her to act and explore things musically while enjoying another love of hers, acting. Instant Star has since been wrapped. Alexz is always open to a new good script and movie, and would love to add her music to it as well, if she can. In this break between acting jobs she has refocused her attention back on music.

Alexz has a great love for music. She wrote a lot of music for the first season of Instant Star, then after some time off for writing music for the show, re-entered again letting them use "I Just Wanted Your Love" for Instant Star.

It's no surprise that her most influencial material of the show is also what has become fan favorites. Songs from the first season especially bare her mark like "Skin", "Your Eyes", "Let Me Fall" and other songs from season 1.

If you've ever heard Alexz Johnson sing you're probably on a growing list of her fans. She was a big contributor to the show's music in the first season of Instant Star and then let the writers handle it until she contributed again in season 4.

Her voice can do some amazing things and she since with such passion it's infectious. Her music isn't genre specific at all giving something anyone can like if you just give her the time.

From country sounding songs like "Let Me Fall" and "I Just Wanted Your Love" to great pop songs like "Ultraviolet", she's versatile and extremely talented. Alexz has even made songs that would remind you of a 1920's club singer in "Perfect" and "I Don't Know If I Should Stay" to the jazzy sounding "Love To Burn".

Her vocals are unique and versatile. Some highlights of her songs that are not hers are a cover of The Weekend's "Temporary Insanity" and Garbage's "Stupid Girl". Alexz has something for everyone, just give her a chance and you'll be hooked too.

Around the end of January and February 2012 Alexz will launch a Kickstarter campaign to get funds to tour. When she releases that information a link will be posted here to her Kickstarter campaign.

There you can become a Backer of her in her campaign. Kickstarter is all or nothing. Either she reaches her goal and gets the money by her deadline or she gets nothing. For this reason it's very important all fans who want her to play for them contribute to this project and help her out.

Before people come telling me to take this down, know I love this girl and her music and the more people that know about her the better. So think about that before lawyers jump in the way. The one who needs to benefit from all this is Alexz herself. She's earned it.

The second single off of Reloaded is Look At Those Eyes and is being played on many stations across Canada and some in the US right now.
