ALF was a TV show from the 80's about an alien from Melmac who liked to eat cats. ALF would also go on to host his own late night television show, which I believe was twice as funny as Leno and half as funny as Conan, making him 9/16ths as funny as Letterman. Alf the sitcom was one of the great shows from the 1980's. It featured the stereotypical family, which consisted of mom and dad and older sister and younger brother. Creativity was not an 80's thing, even though the producers of these shows were most likely people who had washed out during the 60's.
