Alias Smith & Jones

"Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry - the two most successful outlaws in the history of the West. And in all the trains and banks they robbed, they never shot anyone. This made our two latter-day Robin Hoods very popular - with everyone but the railroads and the banks."

So began each episode of Alias Smith and Jones, a unique Western which aired on ABC Television from January of 1971 to its cancellation in January of 1973.  Ben Murphy starred in all 50 episodes of the show, while Pete Duel was in 33 episodes (prior to his death on 12/31/71).  Actor Roger Davis supplied the gravely-voiced narration, and then joined the cast in Pete Duel's role as Joshua Smith / Hannibal Hayes.
