Alice in Wonderland Costumes - Get 'em While They're Hot!

What's sure to be one of the hottest Halloween costumes for 2009 and 2010? Thanks to Tim Burton's new take on Alice in Wonderland, Alice, the Mad Hatter and other characters from Wonderland are sure to be hot costumes on shelves this Halloween.

The good news is: there's numerous quality costumes on the market at the moment. No matter which character you want to be, the selection is vast.

The Mad Hatter

Obviously, the most important part of the Mad Hatter's costume is his hat. Decorated with a tag that reads "In this style 10/6," this character's costume is made complete with a loud overcoat and shoes that scream, "Look at me!" However, don't limit yourself by costuming conventions with this character. The Mad Hatter is a character who is as creative as he is flamboyant. Give the character your own spin for a more memorable costume this Halloween.

Alice

Blue and white. Those are the colors of Alice's trademark dress. Traditionally, Alice is seen in her blue dress adorned with a white apron. The final touch, a black headband over her light blonde hair makes the costume complete. If you don't have the blonde hair to pull of the hairstyle, Alice wigs are also available.

The Cheshire Cat

The Cheshire Cat's costume gives you a chance to be really creative. Though usually seen as the character was visualized in Disney's animated version of Alice in Wonderland (purple and pink with his infamous grin), this character can be adapted to any style. Gothic, playful or just flat out crazy.

The Queen of Hearts

Who doesn't love this wack-a-doo lady? In her royal gown, she gets to shout "Off with her head!" and just generally be unlikeable. Which, of course, makes her very likable. Queen of Hearts costumes run from the standard to the more risqué.
