Alice in Wonderland - one of the best examples of the "literary nonsense", mid-boggling for readers of all ages. Although written in 1865 it is still one of the most influential books in it's genre. - I agree with vallain... except my favorite artist was the original, John Tenniel. Like hundreds of thousands of others, I grew up with Alice, enthralled with her adventures, and studying the pictures that accompanied the story. When my daughter was little, I started to share Alice's adventures with her. She was fascinated, too, and now prefers the Tim Burton characters.
Thank you for sharing a fascinating glimpse into the many faces of Alice - truly a universal enjoyment!

- I admit the Arthur Rackham classic illustrations of Alice in Wonderland are the ones imprinted on my brain. These others were fun and intriguing, but I like the oldie, but goodie on this one.

- Terrific lens, I love the story of Alice In Wonderland, but I'm not a fan of Tim Burton, so not bothered to see the latest movie. We were in Oxford in July and saw where the real Alice used to shop for candy, and she is buried in Lyndhurst in The New Forest, close to where we live. I enjoyed my visit, blessed.
