Alice Temperley launches limited-edition collection for upscale discount retailer.

Minneapolis (August 2007) - Target is partnering with British designer Alice Temperley to create the next limited-edition collection for GO, an innovative program designed to provide affordable fashion created by world-renowned designers. Alice Temperley, adored by fashionistas from both sides of the Atlantic, will launch an exclusive collection on Target.com/go and at most Target stores nationwide on September 16, 2007. Her collection of women's fashion and accessories will be available through November 6, 2007.

Temperley, during her earlier studies, specialized in fabric and print which encouraged her unique, one-of-a-kind aesthetic. After launching her eponymous Temperley London label at London Fashion Week in September 2000, Temperley gained instant global recognition and praise. Her modern take on design has led her to win many awards from a young age including, the Glamour Magazine Designer of the Year Award, the Elle Magazine Young Designer of the Year Award and The Walpole Award for British Design Excellence. Temperley also was the official Womenswear stylist for the BAFTAS 2005 and nominated for the British Fashion Council Red Carpet Designer Award.

The collection ranges in price from $14.99-$139.99, including fall must-haves such as printed dresses, knit tunics, cropped jackets, ruffled blouses, little black dresses and miniskirts.

Stand-out pieces include a long flower-print V-neck dress, long velvet coat with voluminous sleeves, blue polka-dotted bow blouse and navy military jacket with gold buttons. Accessories include chic knit fingerless gloves and berets in solid black, pink and black, and white stripes. Wide stretch belts in solid black and black & white stripes add a finishing touch to a modern look.
