A private satellite spots unusual heat in Antartica. That's the beginning of an expedition to the source of it, a buried pyramid.
A team of archaeologists and engineers encounter what is believed to be an unknown alien species. And that's when hell breaks loose. To make matters worse, Predators are coming to earth to battle the aliens as a sport, trapping the humans in a war that's not theirs.

The humans are trapped, the ones at the surface have quickly been killed by the Predators. The ones inside are being hunted by the Aliens. When the odds seem to be in favor of the Aliens, the Predators and humans ally and fight side by side.
