No. They have a physical body anybody might see. They're just shy.

About clairvoyance and psychic abilities in general
However, when it comes to psychic seeing there's another issue: what we imagine becomes real in a way. Our imagination creates things on the psychic planes and can be seen by us in return. In other words: what we're seeing may be our own creation. There's reason to believe even the best of clairvoyants fall for this trap at least part of the time.
So one of the questions I'm asking is: do psychics create the aliens they see? Or perhaps: do they cloth the real psychic beings they encounter in alien garb. Do they make them alien because that's something they can believe in?

Energy Beings & Aliens
An energy being or astral being is a name given to a group of fictional lifeforms sharing some aspects of their appearance or abilities attributed to the idea that they are composed of pure energy and not made of matter. They appear in myths/legends, paranormal/UFO accounts, and in various works of fiction.
Rather than being literally composed of energy in the physical sense, energy beings are typically rendered as being composed of a translucent glowing fluid, somewhat in common with the representations of ghosts.
The above being common, is not universal. Thanks to fictional representations such as the Q, the distinction between Energy Beings, Elemental spirits, and Cosmic beings is not always distinct. While some such as the Taelons are barely more powerful than mortals, others such as the Q, the Ascended Ancients/Ori from Stargate SG-1, and the Anodite from Ben Ten Alien Force possess god like powers on par with characters often classified as conceptual or higher dimensional beings, AKA Cosmic beings. Often, but not always, being those races that stand in power between the more limited Elemental spirits and the more cosmically powerful Cosmic beings.
The question from my perspective is that if they are such, what is the reason for calling them alien and belonging to another planet, when it is clear they're manifesting on this one?

Comparison to OBE's - Out of Body Experiences
It seems to me that the stories of meetings with aliens are not consistent enough among them to conclude that every meeting is an OBE. However, it does sound like in many cases an Out of Body Experience is part of the whole experience.

- I definitely need to read more about this but you have piqued my interest. I agree with Ener-G in that I don't believe in the Hollywood interpretation of aliens. Have never had a clairvoyant experience but have had many, many intuitive experiences that have served me well. Maybe that's too simplistic and therefore doesn't count.

- Excellent presentation! While I can not say for sure, I believe anything is possible! I know there are a lot of subcultures out there that believe that they are Channeling and recieving messages from other stars and galaxies, but I personally have a hard time putting my full faiths into such reports. I dont fully discredit their experiences either.
I personally believe that there are aliens, perhaps they genetically created man kind, this explains the 'missing link' and why we have such intense dna compared to other life forms on our planet. Ancient Sumerian writings are really interesting on this topic, predating anything 'Biblical'. Such a complex topic! Let light and Love show us the way ;)

- Gosh Katinka -- this is a pretty heavy-duty question. I really don't know. I'd never entertained too much about aliens, but I do believe in a level of intuitive psychicness.

- Hmmm, interesting topic. I've been working with the Arcturians with my clairvoyance and clairaudience, who some say are aliens, but who I see as energy beings. I guess I don't know if I believe in aliens...at least not the way Hollywood has depicted them.
