Aliens, Extraterrestrials and the Bible

"We are being visited," former NASA Astronaut Edgar D. Mitchell publicly stated Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at a National Press Club conference, "It is now time to put away this embargo of truth about the alien presence." Hosted by the Paradigm Research Group, a political activist and consultant organization dedicated to full global disclosure on the reality of extraterrestrials, the conference strongly urged the Obama administration to release their files regarding proof of the existence of alien life or risk the chance of another "space gap". While it has never been proven, the image of the "flying saucer" has today become synonymous with the idea of intelligent life on other planets. In his 1979 published work Messengers of Deception, world-renowned ufologist, Jacques Vallee said of space aliens; "An impressive parallel exists between UFO occupants and the popular conception of demons." Like many Christian UFO researchers, Vallee has arrived at very similar conclusions concerning visitors from space. Whatever aliens are, they are not what they are claiming to be. The UFO/alien phenomena has much more to do with mind control and deception than with "space visitors from another planet". Vallee is also known for saying; "I'm certain that UFOs are reality, but I'll be disappointed if they turn out to be only spacecraft from outer space."

During the early days of the global UFO explosion, many of the science fiction movie posters of that era depicted beings from space taking the "daughters of men". The advent of this kind of unintentional, yet subliminal art coincided directly with the time when man first began to really suspect that we were not alone in the universe. A Vatican theologian and demonologist recently announced that the extraterrestrial phenomenon was authentic, and that it did not clash with current Catholic theology. Monsignor Corrado Balducci, a Vatican consultant on "contact with the supernatural" and Papal insider said that aliens "are NOT demonic, they are NOT due to psychological impairment, they are NOT a case of entity attachment, but these encounters deserve to be studied carefully." For the Bible-believeing Christian the question of origins is pretty much a non-issue. The Scriptures leave no room for doubt that "Intelligence" is most definitely behind the creation of the Universe. The Bible never debates the existence of God. The idea that a "Big Bang" exploded "nothing" and somehow created a perfectly-ordered Universe is preposterous by comparison. Scientifically speaking, it's impossible for "nothing" to explode, and it can be easily demonstrated that explosions cannot create order. The birth of the universe plays a decisive role in whether or not other forms of life exist "out there". Did everything come into existence by blind happenstance and then evolve into their present-day state, or was it all deliberately created as-is? First coined in 1955, the term "Ufology" originally only adhered to the strict definition of the study of unidentified flying objects.
