A solid introduction to the Alkaline Diet
The concepts behind following an alkaline diet are very simple: eat the things you know are good for you (fresh, leafy green vegetables and salads etc.) and steer clear of the things you know are bad (sugar, bad fats, alcohol, tobacco, yeast etc.)Of course, the science and research behind this approach are is slightly more detailed than this - but following the advice your mother always gave you is the basis of this extremely effective and beneficial lifestyle - eat more fresh vegetables and cut out the junk food!
The key is to maximise the amount of fresh, alkalising fruits and vegetables that you consume, along with plenty of pure, alkaline water and juices. By aiming for an optimal 80/20 ratio of alkaline to acid foods we can ensure that our body recieves the nourishment, nutrients and fuel it needs to maintain optimal health and send our energy level through the roof!

- The most effective sources of alkaline foods that heal are green leafy vegetables. Eating them uncooked is an efficient method of receiving alkalinity. A few of these examples are broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, asparagus, eggplant, beet, cucumber, corn, chicory, kale and other inexperienced vegetables. For the benefits of eating alkaline meals, they can be eaten uncooked with salads or boiled and added to soups and different meals preparations. But when these are cooked, greater than half the quantity of their nutrients are misplaced and their therapeutic power turns into weak. These are also thought of as alkaline meals to combat cancer resembling lung and colon cancer. Recent herbs like parsley, basil, cilantro, celery, cayenne and ginger will also be included in alkaline weight loss program plan that is beneficial.

- The human body is basically built for a different structure of diet that we do not tend to follow. 75% of the human diet in actuality is supposed to be vegetables, plain carbohydrates and simple proteins. In short the first portion of the diet should consist of all the easily digestible foods that do not strain the digestive system. The second 25% should be fats, complex nutrients and acid forming substances. The alkaline diet chart is basically made in such a manner that it maintains a balance with in the complex foods and simple foods. dieta dukana

- Before taking a look at the recipes for alkaline diet, you should be aware of the foods that are to be consumed and avoided in this diet.
