Pressure cooking has come back into style and the All American 921 All-American 21-1/2-Quart Pressure Cooker/Canner is one of the best ones on the market today. Not only can you use it for cooking, but due to its large capacity (21.5 quarts) it is great for canning your own food too. A pressure cooker is usually recommended when you go to can vegetables and non-acidic fruit. This is preferred because the high heat of a pressure cooker can kill more bacteria than regular hot water. This All American Pressure cooker comes with sturdy screws to seal the lid to the pot. There are no rubber gaskets to wear out. It can hold 19-pint jars or 7 quart jars. Proudly made in America.

No. According to the manufactures website, glass-top stoves recommend using flat cookware. Since the All American pressure cooker has indentations on the bottom, it is not suitable for this type of stove.
I have never used a pressure cooker before. Can I do a trial run first?
Yes you certainly can. YOU can do a trial run using only water to familiarize yourself with how it works before suing actual food to cook or processing canned foods.
