Proud of Hungarian Heritage
Most people are probably proud of their ancestry and enjoy their common culture. Everyone wonders at one time or another about their "roots". Maybe you were lucky enough to have family traditions, foods, and love of a culture handed down to you. Maybe you were really lucky and had Hungarian roots!I'm kidding, but I do enjoy learning the things that make Hungarian culture unique. I believe some things are passed on through the generations and we aren't even completely aware of how they are rooted in our specific heritage until we learn something about it.

- Oh I had a Vizla mix! She was such a powerful dog, but sweet: her name was Noodles. I think those dogs were kept by the Magyars. That photo of the girls is so beautiful. A culture that is truly foreign to me but that I suspect I would really enjoy.

- My uncle raised Puli and Komondor breeds, I liked hearing about your Vizla- they are a hunting breed, right? Hungarians are "warm and spicy" if you put it in terms of flavor, I think you *would* like them.

About Me
true confessions
I can't speak Hungarian, only know a few phrases. I did get a chance to visit Hungary a number of years ago, and my mother passed on to me a love of her heritage. I hope you enjoy the Hungarian lenses.
