If your a newly starting home business owner this post is for you. I decided to write this lens to share any of everything I learn about internet marketing here. Sometimes I wonder why there are not more pages like this trying to show people how to market. I obviously don't know everything about internet marketing so I will direct to other sites that that know more about certain subject than I do. All in all though, I will try to help you to he best of my abilities.Heres to quality content and hopefully this lens will inspire you to create some AWESOME CONTENT! .

That you should never forget

No matter what kind of business your starting, these strategies and good and easy to follow for anyone just starting. In any and every home business there is a high failure rate. Some people who have already started their business with go under within 2 years, and for those lucky few who survive the first two years they have three more years before meeting the same fate. Yes, only those who are planning for these obstacles will triumph. It is very sad that almost all home based businesses failed within the first 5 years. However, there are the rare few that keep their business going and are successful in what they do, and even though they are few in number they usually have some similar skills/characteristics that they had to learn and implement to be successful in their fields.

Skills of Successful Internet Marketers

Write Down Your Goals

Successful people write down their goals. Successful internet marketers either write down down or record their goals. That seems simple doesn't it, but most people think they can remember their goals. Remembering is not what is about thought, writing down or recording your goals reinforces your resolve to accomplish the goal you set for yourself. Write down all your goals, short term and long term. Dream big because whenever you think about that, you will never forget you need to be working hard to achieve your dreams/goals.

Expand your network daily

How many people are you connecting with on a daily bases? There are tons of ways to connect with people on and offline. For online there is Facebook, Twitter, Websites, Blogs, Forums ;etc. For offline there is no better way to network that going to a live event and actually talking to like minded individuals. The relationships you build and the friends you make can have a very positive impact on your business.

Facebook - Talk to people who are also interested in network marketing. DON'T try to sell anyone anything, for now just build relationships and trust. Some of these people will be your future partners and clients so treat them well.
Join syndication (sharing) groups such as Katie Frieling The Unified Tribe
Only post good content that has value, OVER DELIVER and people will clamor to join you.

Twitter - Again (I'll probably mention this a few times) talk to people, do some @replies, retweet good and valuable tweets, Ask people to do the same for you after you retweeted a few of their tweets. Send personalized DM to people who follow you (Sometime you won't always be able to because of how time consuming this may be but it truly leave a impact on people when they see you care). When you follow people wait about a week and see if they follow you back and if they don't you can assume their probably aren't interested in receiving your tweets so unfollow them using some type of twitter unfollow site like FriendorFollow

Blogs - What can I say, they should be the central hub of your marketing efforts. If your are not sending them to a capture page, send them to your blog. It would probably be better if you send to to your capture from your blog. A blog is where you build your own personal brand "You Inc." as I heard it called before. I have seem people try to do affiliate marketing off ot straight out dynamic blogs. I hope that is not you because even if people were interested in something you were promoting, they may not be able to find your post if they decided to buy later and so you've lost a customer. Build static pages in your blog like "Recommended Tools". You want to help people out so don't try to sell them because when you help them and give them plenty of useful information they'll say, "Hey, this guy is giving away all this information for free, I should join his newsletter or subscribe to his blog" and then you slowly slowly drip them information until they trust you enough to buy your Recommended Tools.

Forums - What a way to go, this is one of th best ways to free advertise and build up back-links to your blog. Join trusted forums like "Better Networker" or "Warrior Forum" and ask questions, help people out and don't forget to use a signature with your site's link in it. I suggest you read the Terms of Service for any forum you join though because some have strict rules about how you can advertise on them.

Focus on simple duplicating tasks

The keys to success in internet marketing is in the duplication. If your team can do what you did to grow your network and downline, then they can show it to others and so on and so on. Do daily tasks that anyone in your downline can replicate. Tell people daily about your networking marketing business. If you don't, you do not have a business. Never forget the marketing in Network Marketing.

Build a community and loyalty

If your company has live events, webinars, forums, or some type of training invite your team to be a part of this. They will learn a lot and plus everyone who is a top producer is their company attends these events, that's not a coincidence. How many top earners do you not see at their company meetings? There is always something to learn and if not it is always good to hear the basics anyway.

Talk to your team upline and downline, heck even your crossline . Ask questions on a topic that may be confusing for you and share knowledge to those ask questions in your community even if they are not directly apart of your team, Try to build a relationship of trust and rapport build sharing your ups and downs, your experience overcoming a similar hurdle in your business.

Create Momentum

Your goal is to get the people in your downline their first check. You basically want to find out what they are good at whether it's writing, making videos or podcast;etc, and give them a site where they can build their skills so they they can increase their own downline. You want to help them get paid as fast as possible so they can see that they can do it. I see way too often people sponsor others and just leave them high and dry. This why network marketing gets a bad rep. Support your downline always. If you know what someone good at, for example writing, they maybe they want to write blogs,articles or even learn copy-writing. Slowly help your team build they skills bit by bit until they can learn by themselves.

Now, that was not too bad was it? I sure you can do all these things and even teach your team to do the same. The more consistent you are the more you get paid. It's like a rolling snowball it starts out small but at the bottom of that hill it is like a boulder.
