All of Me on Squidoo: My Lenses

I have been writing for most of my life. I have more than one blog in the blogosphere, but Squidoo is more fun than just posting articles to my rss feeds/blogs. I enjoy creating whole pages devoted to one subject without having to buy domain names and hosting, and let's face it, Squidoo is awesome for search engine ranking.

I am one who speaks her mind without fear, and Squidoo allows me to write about the subjects that I care about; getting the word out to a wide audience.

I am a writer. I always have been, and it is a passion of mine that has taken me places I would not have been able to go otherwise.

I have published one book, and I have another waiting to be published. Writing requires reading to learn about different things, and that is something I cannot live without; learning, that is. I crave knowledge and the ability to share it is a wonderful thing.

Writing has been one venue I have used in advocating for battered women and abused children. That is a subject I care deeply about. I have walked in those shoes and they are not comfortable at all.

So, what things do I write about? A little of everything. I write about things like religion, politics, disabilities and health issues. I write because I can and I am good at it.

I started out writing a journal and poetry. Writing at that time, was therapy for me; a way of coping with the abuse in my life. From there it blossomed into what it is today.

Writing helps me to be organized and in touch with others. I hope that the things I write will help someone else.
