Welcome to My Page!

I am, first and foremost, a creative problem solver. Right now, the focus of that problem-solving is on writing, fiction and otherwise. I do other things, of course, such as cooking, snowboarding, the awesomest sport in the world (a.k.a. Ultimate Frisbee), and yoga, but writing is what I hope to make a living off of.

I would totally be a professional Ultimate player, if I could, but unfortunately the world isn't quite ready for that level of insanity.

My work is currently in a couple of markets, and I'll update my progress here as it occurs. Wish me luck!

And to all of you aspiring authors out there - keep up the good work! I've got a bit of experience, and I'm always open to giving advice. Don't hesitate to ask questions!

What's New!

In May of 2011, I launched a new humor website and blog: You Amuse Me.

On the blog, I keep track of humor articles that I'm publishing around the web, such as the ones I regularly produce for Trail's Edge Blog (such as this one about 5 Tips For Buying Your First Running Shoes) and Weird Worm (such as this one about 6 Movie Actresses Who Kick Butt). I also write original humor pieces, track interesting and weird pictures from around the Web, and generally try to amuse and entertain.

Good to meet you, Emma! Looks like your blog is going to go from strength to strength. I'm just sniggering over the 'hand grenade'. Although I should add that I've been learning Chinese and I can tell you if they have trouble sometimes with getting it right in English, just watch us translate into their language! :)
