Do you love cartoons and funny characters. Did you enjoy watching cartoons as a child! There were some really great ones to watch. Fruitytoons cartoon characters are a collection of characters that I've created out of different fruits! I have used these fun and creative designs on products that I sell in my zazzle store. From delicious apples to smiling oranges and playful plums. There's a whole world of funny fruit characters waiting to add some zest to your life. Or just to put a smile on your face. Some wonderful birthday cards, t-shirts, some adorable toddler tee's, postage, mugs and more. You may find a gift or two for your friends or families! I will share some 'fruity' trivia and some fun fruit facts. I've also included some yummy fruit smoothie recipes for you to enjoy! I hope you have fun browsing through my lens!

Lets start with the Apple...
My first character I created was the 'apple'! I thought it might be fun to give my fruit characters names so the boy apple is 'Adam' and the girl is 'Abby' Here are some items that I have used these characters on!
Oranges
The next fruit character is the orange. This ones name is 'Squirt'! Such a cute little fellow!
Strawberry Banana Smoothie
1 cup vanilla yoghurt
1/2 a banana
4-5 strawberries (washed & cut in half)
Approx. 2 cups ice cubes
Add all ingredients to blender and mix til smooth! Enjoy!
Pears
My next fruit character is the pear. I've given this character the name of 'Goldy'
Plums
My next fruit character is of course the plum! I gave this fruity character the name of 'Percy', I'm really not sure how I came up with that one but I'm sure it will grow on me! lol

Berry Smoothie
1/2 cup vanilla yoghurt
1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1/2 cup lowfat milk
1 cup ice
Add all ingredients to the blender and mix until smooth. Approx. 30 -45 sec.
