When I was a little girl, I remember going to Disney World in Orlando for the first time and one of the attractions that I remember most was Swiss Family Robinson Tree House. Of course, everything at Disney is cool, but this was awesome! It had all these cool rooms and different levels and rope bridges. I thought it was the neatest place ever! Well, when you're 10, ANYthing different is cool. So you picture this family living in this tree house, with all the 'modern' amenities created from bamboo, coconut shells, reeds, rope, wood and bamboo leaves...they even had an organ! And although they were put on this South Seas Island because of shipwreck, I wouldn't mind being shipwrecked and "getting away" from it all in this little shanny!

So who hasn't dreamed of living in tree houses? I don't mean the little tiny poorly constructed structures some people build, you know, like Little Rascals or something, I mean huge, livable, adaptable structures that you could call a home. Some structures are built on trees or hung from trees, but some unusual tree houses are even grown from trees or built right into a tree. Some people live in trees as a luxury, some to help save the environment and others out of tradition or necessity. I am going to show you many incredible tree houses and tree house designs that range from functional to fanciful, sustainable to strange and affordable to incredibly expensive.

Host will meet them there, leading them on a hike to the lodging which includes wading through a "large creek."
