Allergy Cooking

I have only a few allergies to food the worst being to mango and pineapple and I do know and understand the feelings and fears of having an allergic reaction, but I consider myself fortunate. Over the years I have had several friends that have extreme food allergies and they are allergic to multiple items. After watching them avoid movie threatres because of corn allergies and swell after eating something made in a factory that package nuts...I realized how hard it is for people with allergies and that sometimes they feel left out. Eating is such a part of celebration imagine not being able to have cake or ice cream...there are ways around this and as there friends we should take the time to get a little creative and throw a few allergy free meals on the menu so that they  can join in on the festivities.

I will be posting recipes and resources to make life a little easier, tastier and more interesting....I hope it is helpful and any input is welcome.
