Almost Alice

Almost Alice is just that, music that is almost Alice in Wonderland. This collection of new songs have been inspired by Tim Burton's new take on the classic tale of Alice in Wonderland, from alternative artists and some newer artists, emerging from the underground.

The album features music from Avril Lavigne, The All-American Rejects, Owl City, Shinedown, All Time Low, Metro Station, Tokio Hotel & Kerli, 3OH!3 Featuring Neon Hitch, Robert Smith, Mark Hoppus with Pete Wentz, Plain White T's, Kerli, Franz Ferdinand, Motion City Soundtrack, Wolfmother and Grace Patter and the Nocturnals.

Avril Lavigne has released a very unique video for the Alice Underground song, with herself as a goth-like Alice, who meets the Mad Hatter in Underland. The costume created for the video shoot is very interesting and unique. I've pulled together some of the items from the video, so you can create your own Avril Lavigne Alice Inspired Costume.

Listening to some of the track clips available, Almost Alice sounds like it is going to be a very, very different, alternative musical interpretation from the original 1951 Alice in Wonderland bubbly Disney music.

The CD is available now for pre-order from Amazon. It is due to be release March 2, 2010, just a few days before Alice in Wonderland 2010.
