Gifts That Are Freely Given Come From The Heart

The Hawaiian Word Kikau means to give freely and with good will. Many cultures exchange gifts as a symbol of love and celebration. However in todays world underlying this good will is often found a shadow of stress and tension.

During economically challenged times people worry about how much a gift costs and whether they can afford to give it. Additional stresses are brought about by wondering what to give a person and if they will like it. Children are not shy about telling us what they want but the problem comes with wondering if it is an appropriate gift to give and if it fits in with the values you want to express.

I want to suggest 6 Gifts of Aloha that you can give that are free or nearly free and that shelter healing in the gifting: Rainbow Strings, Aloha String Figure and Bracelet of Rainbow Blessings, Healing Lei, The Little Pink Booklet of Aloha, The Dynamind Technique Booklet, Hawaiian Music.

Gift of Aloha # 1: Rainbow Strings of Hawaii

Give the Gift of a Hawaiian Rainbow for only $1.00 each

Anuenue is the Hawaiian word for rainbow. We have many rainbows in Hawaii. Sometimes double and triple ones are seen up in the sky. The rainbow is a symbol of hope, of God's gift to the people of our planet. We use rainbow colored strings to symbolize the spirit of Aloha that unites us. The different colors represent our diversity and the circle honors our unity.

Our rainbow loops are 50 inches long and can be used to make string figures. They can also be worn as a bracelet. Knotted as in the Aloha Bracelet of Blessings or simply wound around the wrist or ankle.

Give a gift of Aloha and help support Web of Life International (a project of Aloha International) in their work to help make this world a better place.

Gift of Aloha # 3: Healing Lei

Give the Gift of a healing lei to someone you love. $5.00 donation requested

Much Love goes into making and giving of lei. The lei represents a never-ending circle of love much like the arms of a precious child wrapped around its mothers neck.

These lei have been created by Lois Stokes an Artist of the Spirit. Lois creates these lei as part of her healing ministry. They are knotted with healing intent and dedicated to spread Aloha and influence harmony in the life of the wearer.

If you know of someone who is in need of healing influence give this symbol to remind them of your love and prayers. Hang this over their bed with your prayer for all to see. This influences everyone who comes into their room to share in the healing Spirit of Aloha.

The lei can also be symbols of celebration and reminders of the blessings we all have received. They can help us to focus on the positive things we want to attract to our lives. It is a gift of aloha.

Gift of Aloha # 5: Dynamind Booklet

The first copy of this book is always Free. Multiple copies are $1.00 each.

The Dynamind Technique is a healing method shared by Serge Kahili King using the Hawaiian method of Haipule that is based on words, touch, breath and, sometimes, imagery. It is a fast and effective means of preparing the mind and body so that healing will happen quickly and easily. It is a gift of aloha for you to share with the people you love.

I personally have three healing methods that I use and find effective on a regular basis:
1. Ha (Breath) - Remember to Breathe
2. Wai (Water) - Drink Water
3. I (Spirit) - Energy of Haipule, the Dynamind Technique and Laa Kea (Healing Light)

As this traditional Hawaiian chant shares:
Life is in the Breath. Life is in the Water. Life is in the Spirit.
Hawaii, Hawaii, Hawaii
