Are you afraid of the dark?
I'm afraid of the dark...but I get over it by telling myself that there's nothing there. Most of the time it works but sometimes it doesn't. I don't know the reason, but I suspect it's because I'm afraid of the unknown, or what I can't see. It's just one of those fears that I never grew out of.

I guess it depends on the situation. I am afraid of the dark if I am walking at night and it's pitch black out or I have to pass a dark alley...As a child I used to be very afraid of the dark, because we lived in a old house that made creaky noises when the wind blew.
