Alpaca fiber for sale

Alpaca fleece is easy to spin. It does not need to be washed beforehand.You can spin it raw or tease or card it. Alpaca does not need to be mixed with other fibers, like wool.
It can be spun up by itself into a lovely soft yarn.
The fiber can also be used to stuff pillow, or to felt.
Felted handbags, or purses, or other products. Felted alpaca can also be used as quilt batting.
Alpaca fleece is hypoallergenic. People who are allergic to wool can wear it with ease. I have even seen it used to stuff upholstery.

- Poor little Prima Deluxe - I just know that Stephanie need to knit her a sweater! Come on Katiyana, get those needles going and save the Alpacas! My family had a small farm when I was growing up and sheep shearing was always a big day. I was amazed to see the wool come away in a fleece and the little lambies did look naked, but really clean and pretty afterward. Congrats on the ribbons! You Rock, janieruth

- Thanks for the comments, Chloe. They are pretty cute! I just had a baby born last week- a little maroon colored female with a white star mark on her forehead. We're naming her Red Star and I'll have photos soon!

- This has to be one of my favorite lens! You feature such a neat and cute animal, alpacas!
My husband and I learned about these great animals when vacationing in the Smokey Mountains. Evidently, they used these animals as pack animals in the mountains at one time.
I also crochet, so two of my favorite things!
