Alternative to WHAT ?
So you need traffic . you have a blog or site set up , but because of a lack of content , or maybe because of it being without a constant theme ( espacially on blogs ) , the search engines are not really producing fireworks . You have to compete with millions of other results on the "mighty google" , and you just get lost among the crowd . How do you make something happen without constantly having to click , click , click on traffic exchanges ?
T here are a few options that will allow your traffic to grow slowly but steadily , as long as you keep at it at a steady pace .
The concept.........
BUT
With a few good add-ons you can make use of each exposure you get , and end up at a point where every page you look at , translates into a few more impressions of your link and ad somewhere else , resulting in a steady growth on your visitor counter .
For most of these options , you need to be able to add a few lines of code to your blog or site . If you happen to have a Blogger blog , it's simple . You just go to - layout - add page element - add a html/javascript module , and paste the provided code into it .
OK . so let's look at the components
As your page loads , you show a banner ad . ( yeah , right...) , that fades away after ten seconds . The
visitor can close it manually if it is unwanted , and
it has a countdown timer stating it will close in so many seconds.........
Get your fade ads here
To the top right , you have one of two options :
You can use a peel-away ad , or a small popup showing two ad blocks . Both of
these are exchange ads , so yours will be displayed
somewhere else . The peel away ad is more intriguing ,
but the popup ad has a referral network attached to it . Your choice .
You can get your peel away ads here , and your viral pop ads here
In the sidebar you have a choice of three widgets ,
or any combination . Blogupp shows two sites , scaled down to fit into a 120 x 240 widget . It
looks nice and clickable , but once again , no
referral network . The other two options are widgets showing multiple links to
other network blogs or sites .
Link2blogs have a very nice looking widget , and you
get credited 1 click for every 1 click . At Adsvert
you have a simple , slightly cutomizable
widget , but you can assign your credits for clicks or impressions , as you
prefer .
You can see the Link2blogs widget here , you
can check Adsvert out here, and you
can see the Blogupp widget here .
On the way out you can display a popunder ad from Swishads exchange network ,
getting credit for your visitor for the last time .
You can look at Swishads here
Now you have to make the most of all of this , so
you need to have a traffic exchange with the highest possible exchange rate . I
use Clickthru , because they offer a 1:1 ratio . How do they do it ? I have no idea . But I have
used them for over a year now , and never got done in
with credits . You start surfing for the best free exchange ratio available .
You can check Clickthru out here .
A final touch - add an advertisement toolbar to your browser
, and run up credits for all the time spent on the web . It has a very
low clickthrough rate , but
you are surfing anyway , so what's the difference ?
You can get your traffic toolbar here
And NOW..........The Punchline.........
To get the numbers in your downlines, you need some good traffic. Not one view for every two you offer.
SOOOOO.....
You join the Stumbleupon Exchange. Every page you view will bring you a bunch of visitors........
It's FREE........Join HERE
The whole picture at a glance
20 full pageviews .
10 impressions of your fading banner ad .
10 peel away ad impressions , or 20 viral pop ads , depending on the choice you made .
You had your Link2blogs widget available and clickable 20 times .
20 impressions on your Adsvert and / or Blogupp widget(s) .
10 Displays of your popunder ad
So for every page viewed , you can , depending on your ad configurations , get your page / ad / link displayed up to 5 times .
And of course , barring Blogupp and the peel away ads , all these networks have referral programs . And even if you just sign up a few people over time , the credits still add up .
That's why you join the Stumbleupon Exchange, to build a solid downline. Eventually you traffic machine will sustain itself.
Try it and see .
And now for a short non-commercial break.............
