99% of everything used in my memory album was recycled!
The album itself is a used, vintage book. The images were taken from magazines and catalogs destined for the trash. One of the backgrounds is a wallpaper scrap. Even the ribbon was a srap. The only new items were the alphabet letter stickers and the pocket watch embellishment.

Supplies Needed
* Wedding Memory Book (Vintage or New)
* Your favorite adhesive (White Glue, Decoupage Glue, Xyron Adhesive Machine, etc.)
* Pictures & Images from Magazines, Catalogs, Clipart, Dover Books, Clipart CDs, etc.
* Decorative Paper, Scrapbook Paper, Gift Wrap Paper, etc.
* Scissors
* Any flat embellishments of your choosing! (Ribbon, Pressed Flowers, Piece of Dress Fabric, Lace from Veil, Scrapbooking Supplies, etc.)
* Wedding Announcement, Invitation, Copy of Vows, etc.

Special Instructions
Choose images that represent your wedding:
* Your Wedding Colors
* Your Wedding Flower
* Style of your Dress, Jewelry, Hair...
* Church, Garden Wedding, Civil Service, Las Vegas...
* Champagne?
* Candles?
* Religion of Wedding
* Day or Evening Ceremony
* Butterfly or Dove release; Flower Petals or Birdseed thrown?
* ...and so on...

*** There's a catch! You are not allowed to use any photos! ***

General Instructions
~ Tell your wedding story with your images.
~ Cut & paste your images into your book in any order or style that reflects you & your special day!
~ My particular style was collage, and my book was done in chronological order.
For Example:
* Front Cover ~ Images of a few key elements of my wedding.
* Inside Cover ~ Anything you choose...overall view of wedding, an index, your announcement, your invitation, etc.
* The Engagement
* The Location
* The Dress
* The Day (preparations)
* The Ceremony
* The Reception (The finished version says "The Beginning" in gold letters under the last page image.)
* The Honeymoon (I'm thinking of adding it after all these years!)
* The First Home (I'm thinking of adding it, too!)

Special Copyright Considerations

For your project:
Cutting out images from magazines & catalogs is ok for your own personal use in creating your wedding memory album. But, would not be allowed if you created the wedding memory album and sold it. Most images in magazines & catalogs are copyright protected.
