Most people have heard more than they want to know about the leading candidates in the 2012 United States presidential election. As colorful as they may be, Romney, Gingrich and Santorum aren't the only presidential candidates out there, nor are they the most interesting.
The 2012 race sports candidates include diverse individuals, including a street entertainer, a headline-making pastor, a rock star and a Hollywood star. These candidates. Robert Burck offers almost total transparency, as evidenced by his standard outfit of briefs accented by a cowboy hat and boots. Pointing to his success as a musician on the streets of New York city, Mr. Burck declares he has the experience needed to run the country. Roseanne Barr
Domestic Goddess as Chief Executive
Most Americans will find Roseanne Barr, comedic actress, familiar from her television series and film work. In her TV series "Roseanne", she played a lower middle class housewife with all the typical problems that Americans currently face -- job loss, home foreclosure and lack of health care.Much of Roseanne's public life has appeared unstable. She has gone through two messy divorces and publicly accused her parents of abuse. At one point in her career, Rosanne claimed she had multiple personality disorder. Currently, Roseanne lives in Hawaii.
Ms. Barr declares she will fight for the working class and for women. Sympathizing with the Occupy Wall Street movement, Ms. Barr would forgive all student loan, credit card and mortgage debt. She is also a supporter of the single payer health care system.

Due to his disillusionment for all current political candidates for the office of President. Randy Blythe, lead singer of the heavy metal rock band Lamb of God, has declared his Independent candidacy his blog. Mr. Blythe alternately describes Congress as children and baboons, which may put him in tune with the minds of most Americans.Avowing that he loves the United States "like a nerd that loves D&D", Mr. Blythe paints a colorful and sometimes profane vision of the qualifications that a potential President should have. While his call for a candidate with a "bad reputation" probably wont be heeded, his suggestion that the winner beat up a billionaire on national television could well be a springboard to a new reality television program.

Terry Jones
Burn Baby Burn
Pastor Terry Jones first made headlines in July, 2010 for his plan to burn 200 Qurans on the anniversary of 0/11. After extensive protest, Pastor Jones backed down and promised never to burn the Quran. He promptly broke that promise in early 2011, when he burned a Quran in his church, the Dove World Outreach Center.Jones is running as an Independent. He promises to bring all the troops home and wants to deport all illegal immigrants. He also promises to stop overspending, balance the budget and cut corporate taxes. History will tell if he keeps his promises this time.

- Interesting lens, Monika! I knew about Roseanne running, but the other three were a complete surprise. Randy Blythe's comment about loving America "like a nerd that loves D&D" is the best political quote I've heard this year!
