My mom makes Christmas ornaments out of these. Use a Dremel to insert a hole at one end, paint the outside, line the inside with felt, insert a treat or a folded dollar bill and give to friends or family for Christmas.

Great ideas for crafty fun! I've never done anything crafty with an Altoids tin, but they're handy storage for used X-Acto blades (I go through a lot of blades with my scratchboard art).

Sweet re-purposing lens! I love to use candy tins to create etchings. I used to love Alyoids tins for that purpose but now they have raised lettering on them. I'm working on figuring out how to put two Altoid tin bottoms together in an attractive way to make a new, etched tin.
