Amanda Hamilton's Background
Since qualifying in the 1990s in Nutritional Therapy, Iridology and Complex Remedy Homeopathy, Amanda established a successful practice that now reaches clients all over Europe.A dedicated researcher in the field of detoxification, she has spent a good deal of time studying (and trying out!) detox techniques practiced by other cultures around the world, particularly the Ayurvedic traditions of India. She is now studying Ayurvedic Nutrition with the European Institute of Vedic Studies.
In 2003, inspired by her own experiences and those of her patients, she decided to develop a detoxification programme that combined the knowledge and wisdom of the ancients, coupled with the biochemical advances of the more modern advocates of Natural Medicine such as Dr. Bernard Jensen.
2007 sees the creation of a brand new company called Life Detox that offers retreats, workshops and acts as a hub for all things detox; www.lifedetox.co.uk . Amanda's detox work has been the subject of 2 major TV series and she has featured in a wide range of publications.
She is a regular health expert for GMTV, BBC and other major TV networks across Europe.
