AMAS Cancer Test

An Easier, Faster Way to Detect Cancer

Here's why I am writing about the AMAS cancer test. While researching about breast cancer I stumbled across information about a test for cancer anywhere in your body. As it turns out, it is non-invasive and far more accurate than the tests used to detect breast cancer at this time. Women who catch their cancer early have a much better chance of survival and as two of the most common cancers are breast cancer and cervical cancer, I focused on breast cancer here. But the test is equally effective for all types. Skin cancer and lung cancer are also very prevalent, and for men, prostate cancer is a worry. The great thing about the AMAS test is that it catches cancer evidence before it will show up on any standard tests for cancer that are used commonly now.

Radiation is a known carcinogen. I don't have mammograms and I don't think you should either. Take the AMAS test instead. Faster, cheaper, minimally invasive, and far more accurate, especially in the eary stages where it has a better chance of being cured.

As of November 2009, the AMA guidelines for mammograms have changed to preclude most women under 50 from automatically having them unless other risk factors are present and your doctor recommends one. One of the reasons cited was the known risk of too much accumulated radiation in the body!

How To Prepare For A Mammogram

Instead, Take the AMAS Cancer Test

Many women are afraid of their first mammogram, but there is no need to worry. By taking a few minutes each day for a week preceding the exam and doing the following exercises, you will be totally
prepared for the test.

And best of all, you can do these simple exercises right in your home.

EXERCISE ONE:

Open your refrigerator door and insert one breast in door. Shut as hard as possible and lean on the door for good measure. Hold
that position for five seconds. Repeat again in case the first time wasn't effective enough.

EXERCISE TWO:

Visit your garage at 3 AM when the temperature of the cement floor is just perfect. Take off all your clothes and lie comfortably on the floor with one breast wedged under the rear tire of the car. Ask a friend to slowly back the car up until your breast is sufficiently flattened and chilled. Turn over and repeat with the other breast.

EXERCISE THREE:

Freeze two metal bookends over night. Strip to the waist. Invite a stranger into the room.
Press the bookends against one of your breasts. Smash the bookends
together as hard as you can. Set up an appointment with the stranger to
meet next year and do it again.

YOU ARE NOW TOTALLY PREPARED!

The Hippocratic Oath

The first goal in treatment is supposed to be: First, do no harm.

The Original Hippocratic Oath

" I swear by Apollo, the healer, Asclepius, Hygieia, and Panacea, and I take to witness all the gods, all the goddesses, to keep according to my ability and my judgment, the following Oath and agreement:

To consider dear to me, as my parents, him who taught me this art; to live in common with him and, if necessary, to share my goods with him; To look upon his children as my own brothers, to teach them this art.

I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and NEVER DO HARM TO ANYONE.

I will not give a lethal drug to anyone if I am asked, nor will I advise such a plan; and similarly I will not give a woman a pessary to cause an abortion.

But I will preserve the purity of my life and my arts.

I will not cut for stone, even for patients in whom the disease is manifest; I will leave this operation to be performed by practitioners, specialists in this art.

In every house where I come I will enter only for the good of my patients, keeping myself far from all intentional ill-doing and all seduction and especially from the pleasures of love with women or with men, be they free or slaves.

All that may come to my knowledge in the exercise of my profession or in daily commerce with men, which ought not to be spread abroad, I will keep secret and will never reveal.

If I keep this oath faithfully, may I enjoy my life and practice my art, respected by all men and in all times; but if I swerve from it or violate it, may the reverse be my lot."

AMAS Cancer Test

Instead of a Mammogram, Consider AMAS

Instead, Take the AMAS Cancer Test

Mammograms are very painful and unnecessary, and I believe dangerous themselves, since they involve radiating the breast tissue and there is evidence that they themselves contribute to breast cancer in later life. There is a test that is available now, in fact it is listed on the lab forms at most doctor's offices, even though not very many doctors know about this test.(I have taken a survey and not found a single one who does know!) I have not found a single lab form which doesn't list the test, either.

And why is it not used instead of expensive painful mammograms? Well the equipment that reads mammograms was very expensive and they need to pay for them. And don't forget all those radioligists that need jobs. That is what I think anyway. My litmus test for "why things are the way they are" is: "Who benefits?" or as an action plan, "Follow the money."
Here is an article that explains the test. Instead of a mammogram, ask for this test!

Notice it was written in 1996, 13 years ago, and doctors are still asking us to submit to mammograms....

An Accurate Blood Test For Cancer
FYI FROM
THE SAN FRANCISCO MEDICAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION

There is now a blood test that will accurately detect early cancer of all types. It has an accuracy of greater than 95%. If the test is repeated, the accuracy is greater than 99%. That is to say, that false positive and false negative rates are less than 1%. The test is called AMAS.

Twenty-one years ago a neurochemist, Samuel Bogoch, M.D., Ph.D., discovered a test for cancer antigen, similar to today's PSA for prostate cancer and CEA for colorectal cancer. With hard work and good sound research, he found the first anticancer antibody in the bloodstream of patients with cancer. He named the new antigen malignin, and called new the new antibody Anti-Malignin Antibody. Hew founded a laboratory in Boston called Oncolab, Inc. the test has been finally patented, and the FDA has granted permission to market this test.

We have been following the development of this test for the past five to eight years, however. It was not quite workable as a test that could be easily utilized by practicing physicians. At present, the test and the procedures in utilizing it have been refined and it is workable. A recent newsletter from the Friend Foundation For Medical Research, Volume 6, Number 1, Spring 1995, gives a descriptive summary of the AMAS test to date.

Doctors will be using the AMAS test around the world. There are three indications and uses for this test.

1. A cancer screening test.
The usual examination in a doctor's office today includes a history, a physical examination and selected laboratory tests aimed at detecting potential problems including cancer. With the use of the AMAS test, the doctor will be able to defer or eliminate chest x- rays, sigmoidoscopy, CT scans, possibly even mammograms and PAP tests, unless the AMAS is abnormal. All blood donors and transplant donors and recipients will be screened by AMAS to insure there is no chance of spreading undiagnosed viral-induced cancer. Life and disability insurance companies will surely want to know your AMAS status before underwriting a new policy or renewing an old one.
This is exciting to us because we have been prevention-minded for our entire medical career. The problem with cancer is that, like other diseases, it is not detectable until it's advanced. The other exciting idea here is that many cancers will be able to be prevented because tainted blood transfusions or transplant organs will be able to be screened, preventing the transplantation of cancer into an already sick patient. We all realize it is better to find a small cancer early than big cancer later. The cancers that are detected at an earlier stage are ones that have the highest possibility of a permanent cure.

2. A cancer monitoring test.
After any cancer has been treated the patient, as well as the doctor, wants to know if the cancer has been cured or if some malignancy may remain in the body. Breast cancer is a good example. Published data show that when surgery has been curative, the AMAS value returns to normal. If any cancer remains, AMAS will continue to be elevated. Cancer specialists will be able to precisely recommend radiation and chemotherapy only for those patients who need it.

3. In differential diagnosis.
If there is a shadow on a chest x-ray, a spot in the liver CT scan, a suspicious area on a mammogram, or an enlarged lymph node on an MRI, generally a needle biopsy or an open surgical biopsy is necessary to tell whether or not the tissue is cancerous. If the AMAS is normal, the lesion in question is not a cancer. In the future, the AMAS test should dramatically reduce the number of invasive biopsies, needless pain and suffering, and reduce the cost of medicine.

COSTS AND AVAILABILITY
AMAS is a test which measures an antibody. It is a laboratory procedure called an immunoassay. PSA for prostate cancer and CEA for colorectal cancer are two common immunoassay that measure antigens. At the present time, AMAS is only available through Dr. Bogoch's Oncolab, Inc. in Boston. The requisition to order AMAS must contain specific medical information and must be sighed by both patient and physician.
The test is presently done by hand at Oncolab and requires special handling including properly separating the serum from the blood, freezing and shipping overnight to Boston. Dr. Bogoch is currently attempting to place AMAS with a strong international company that will make the test affordable and available in an automated form worldwide. He hopes to accomplish this by the end of 1995.

AMAS AND BREAST CANCER
To date, more than 1,000 patients with breast cancer have been studied with AMAS. Most of the clinical research has focused on using AMAS to tell if the cancer has been cured. Results show that breast cancer can only be presumed cured if the AMAS returns to normal level after treatment. New data shows convincing evidence that breast cancer cannot be presumed to be in remission unless AMAS returns to normal. Traditionally, the usual follow- up treatment would include CT scans, MRI's, x-rays and hormonal blood tests, looking for signs of cancer after treatment. Used and performed properly, AMAS gives a much more accurate answer at a fraction of the cost and inconvenience. AMAS has found breast cancer as small as a pencil dot. This is a truly remarkable test.

THE FUTURE FOR CANCER DETECTION AND TREATMENT
Dr. William J. Friend, M.D., the Director of Medical Research for The Friend Foundation, states that Anti-Malignant Antibody in Serum (AMAS) is a naturally occurring antibody present in the serum of all people, even children. AMAS is our natural immune system against cancer. The test can be used to determine if any type of cancer exists anywhere in the body. It will tell if the new treatment against any cancer has been successful. The future application of AMAS in vaccines and booster shots is inevitable. Historians will probably view AMAS as the most important diagnostic test of the twentieth century, as it will forever change the practice of medicine in the civilized world.

Secret of Health- Buddha

Dr. Mercola, D.O. has more advice about Breast Cancer

Instead of Mammograms, Take the AMAS Cancer Test

First, before I get into the topic of breast cancer, I want to remind you about the interactive feature of my website, called Vital Votes.

The information I share here is based on my own experience treating tens of thousands of patients over the past 20 years, and reviewing tens of thousands of articles on natural medicine. But it is only my experience, and there's a lot more information out there, some of which you may have experience with.

So, below every article, there's a section where you can add your own comments and insights to increase the body of knowledge about alternatives to the toxic solutions touted by the traditional medical model. If you're not already registered, you can do so for free.

The Problem With Breast Self-Exams

Diagnostically, breast self-exams (BSE) have long been recommended as a simple way for women to keep track of anything unusual in their breasts.
It's fairly self explanatory, as you simply palpate your breasts on a regular basis, looking for any suspicious lumps. The problem with breast self-exams is that it typically forces women into a conventional, and potentially dangerous, diagnostic model.

If you do find something unusual, you will typically be brought in for a conventional diagnostic strategy involving the use of a mammogram.

Unfortunately, a mammogram uses ionizing radiation at a relatively high dose, which in and of itself can contribute to the development of breast cancer. Mammograms expose your body to radiation that can be 1,000 times greater than that from a chest x-ray, which we know poses a cancer risk. Mammography also compresses your breasts tightly, which could lead to a dangerous spread of cancerous cells, should they exist.

And, should you end up getting a breast biopsy, then that too can have detrimental consequences.

If I was a woman, I wouldn't get one as there are much safer options available.

My favorite is thermography, which measures the radiation of infrared heat emanating from your body and translates this information into anatomical images. I have numerous articles on the topic of thermography on my site that you can easily find by using the site's search engine. I offer thermography at my clinic. If you would like more information or would like to schedule your thermogram, you can call Ela at our Thermography Diagnostics Center in Chicago at (847) 252-4311.

Prevention is the Best Cure, and is Easier Than You Think!

It can be incredibly useful to focus on the factors that actually contribute to breast cancer in the first place.

One of the most important ones was a completely unknown factor when I first started this newsletter. As little as ten years ago, hormone replacement therapy (HRT) was believed to be safe, but has since been proven to drastically increase your risk of breast cancer.

One study made the startling discovery that HRT with either estrogen alone or estrogen-plus-progestin was associated with a 70 percent increase in breast cancer risk when the therapy was taken for five years within the six years preceding the cancer diagnosis!

This is also true for birth control pills. They're synthetic hormones which may even be worse than Premarin, so I strongly advise women to avoid birth control pills as well as traditional approaches to HRT.

Bioidentical hormones, which are a safer alternative, do not appear to contribute to breast cancer like its synthetic counterparts.

Two other important components for breast cancer prevention include:

Your vitamin D levels -- We now know that if you can get your vitamin D levels up to about 60-80 ng/ml, it will virtually eliminate your risk of breast cancer. Breast cancer is particularly sensitive to vitamin D, so it's very important you regularly monitor your vitamin D status with a 25(OH)D test (also called 25-hydroxyvitamin D).
There are many variables that may prevent your body from optimizing vitamin D from sun exposure, and there's no other way to determine your levels other than through lab testing, using a reputable lab (I recommend LabCorp in the U.S.)

Your fasting insulin levels - It's also important to know what your fasting insulin level is (taken after 8-12 hrs of fasting). Ideally you'll want your insulin to be around 2 or 3. The higher your level, the worse it is.
Breast cancer patients with high levels of insulin in their blood appear more likely to die from the disease, and researchers have even found that insulin levels may predict whether a woman's breast cancer is likely to recur after therapy.
We're in the process of making these two tests available in the U.S. to anyone who would like them without a doctor's prescription. This service is not available yet, but stay tuned as it will become available shortly.

Eating and Sleeping Your Way to a Cancer-Free Life

Other preventive components include eating and sleeping right. In particular, you'll want to pay careful attention to your fats. Nearly everyone needs to increase their intake of healthy omega-3 fats. I recommend using a high quality animal-based omega-3 supplement like krill oil.

Additionally, you'll want to eliminate all the trans fats (heated, processed fats), because the combination of omega-3 deficiency along with an excess of poor quality omega-6 fats is a disaster when it comes to the production of vitamin D-sensitive breast cancer.

Lastly, you need to optimize you melatonin production. Ideally you should allow your body to do it the natural way, which is far easier than you might think.
Optimizing your melatonin production is a simple, two-part process.

First, make sure you sleep in absolute pitch-black darkness.
If you need light to get to the bathroom at night, use a RED penlight. The red has a wavelength of about 600 nanometers that will not stimulate your pineal gland and disturb its production of melatonin.

If you use an electric alarm clock, beware that blue LED lights are probably the worst as they stimulate your pineal gland and disrupt melatonin production.
Secondly, expose yourself to bright sunshine in the daytime.

It's the combination of these two strategies that will optimize your body's natural production of melatonin, which can clearly reduce your risk of developing breast cancer.

The Emotional Component of Breast Cancer

Therapeutically, another component to remember is that if you or someone you know has breast cancer, you'll want to pay careful attention to the emotional factors as emotions almost always seem to be a factor in cancer.

One of the best tools I know to address the emotional roots of illness was developed in Germany by Dr. Hamer. He called it German New Medicine (GNM). A revised version, developed in the U.S., is called Recall Healing. The therapy addresses emotional components that seem to be really strong triggers for developing this type of cancer.

The leader in that area is Dr. David Holt, whom I've interviewed for my Inner Circle expert series, who operates in Reno, Nevada. I hope to be making Recall Healing available shortly, in my Chicago clinic.

Combining all of the measures mentioned above can be a very powerful way to prevent breast cancer, which of course is the most effective way. Like Kennedy said,
"The time to repair the roof is when the sun is shining."

But even if you already have cancer, you can still use these strategies as additional therapies, especially vitamin D.

Instead, Take the AMAS Cancer Test

The Case Against Mammography

Health officials recommend that all women over 40 get a mammogram every one to two years, yet there is no solid evidence that mammograms save lives, and the benefits of mammograms are controversial at best.

Meanwhile, the health hazards of mammography have been well established.

John Gofman, M.D., Ph.D. - a nuclear physicist and a medical doctor, and one of the leading experts in the world on the dangers of radiation - presents compelling evidence in his book, Radiation from Medical Procedures in the Pathogenesis of Cancer and Ischemic Heart Disease, that over 50 percent of the death-rate from cancer is in fact induced by x-rays.

Now consider the fact that the routine practice of taking four films of each breast annually results in approximately 1 rad (radiation absorbed dose) exposure, which is about 1,000 times greater than that from a chest x-ray.

Even the American Cancer Society lists high-dose radiation to the chest as a medium to high risk factor for developing cancer.

Updated News about Mammograms, 12/5/2010

Instead, Take the AMAS Cancer Test

~from Dr. Joseph Mercola, D.O.

This is to be expected, I guess, considering the fact that the American Cancer Society - one of the main proponents for mammograms -- has close financial ties to the makers of mammography equipment.

This financial bias hypes mammography, even though it is clearly a cause of breast cancer itself...

According to a recent World Wire press release:

"Routine mammography delivers an unrecognized high dose of radiation, warn Drs. Epstein and Bertell. If a woman follows the current guidelines for premenopausal screening, over a 10 year period she would receive a total dosage of about 5 rads.

This approximates the level of exposure to radiation of a Japanese woman one mile from the epicenter of atom bombs dropped on Hiroshima or Nagasaki."

The risks of mammograms far outweigh their benefit, which is why I encourage you to think for yourself and consider safer, more effective alternatives.

The option for breast screening that I most highly recommend is called thermographic breast screening, which measures the radiation of infrared heat from your body and translates this information into anatomical images.

Thermography uses no mechanical pressure or ionizing radiation, and can detect signs of breast cancer as much as 10 years earlier than either mammography or a physical exam - before a tumor has even formed!

This is made possible because it can image the early stages of angiogenesis -- the formation of a direct supply of blood to cancer cells, which is a necessary step before they can grow into tumors of size.

More men's lives could also be spared from the disease as mammography is not frequently used on men, which leads to most men with breast cancer being diagnosed at a very late stage.

AMAS Cancer Test

Dr. William Campbell Douglass II, M.D. has this to say about Mammograms

Instead, Take the AMAS Cancer Test

New study highlights dangers of mammograms

I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, "Save the Ta- tas." Believe me... I'm all about "saving the ta-tas" - which is exactly why I've been telling women for years to STAY AWAY from those breast-squashing cancer machines called mammograms.

I've given you plenty of reasons why - and here's another to add to the list...

After just five mammograms, women who are at high risk for breast cancer are 2.5 times more likely to get the disease than those who skipped out on the tests. Women who get mammograms before they turn 20 are also at a higher risk.

I shake my head at the irony. These "high-risk" women, of course, are the same patients who've been told they need MORE screenings because of their supposed risk. And when they DO develop breast cancer, no one thinks to blame the "solution." In fact, they sing the mammogram's praises for catching it early!

The researchers who presented this analysis at a recent meeting of the Radiological Society of North America say more study is needed to confirm the link. At least they're predictable.

Truth is, we don't need to waste another minute - or another research dollar - on this.

This is just the latest in a series of reports and studies to confirm the obvious: Mammograms have harmed far more women than they've ever saved. The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recently advised against mammograms for most women under 50, a huge leap in the right direction.

But already plenty of "experts" are trying to water down the facts with the medical equivalent of gibberish. These doctors are doing everything they can to keep women in fear - not because they're interested in saving lives, but because they're worried about what will happen to their bank accounts when women realize that they've been had.

Don't listen to a word they're saying. They don't have a scientific leg to stand on.

Ladies, the bottom line on this is to stay far from mammograms, no matter what you hear on TV.

I had never heard of the AMAS cancer test before and am in full agreement that it sounds far superior as a screening method and much more comfortable than a mammogram. You give a lot of food for thought. I was in the middle of doing your home exercises to prepare for a mammogram and just as I got comfortable on the garage floor, I realized there was no need to practice if I'm not going to have a mammogram. Excellent Heather!

Fantastic lens! I have actually never heard of this test. Where the heck was it 21 years ago when I had bone cancer??!!! lol. I went quite a bit just to get diagnosed, so anything non-invasive would certainly have been preferable. Actually I had the AMAS test in Canada well over 10 years ago. I just asked my Doctor to do it and it cost $15 at the time. Later in another situation I was told by another specialist that it was not good for finding cancers in the female reproductive area and a CSA was ordered instead. Didn't find anything. It's good to hear that it has been refined. 5* and lensrolled into Healing Hemp.
