Do you know Some facts

Cricket is said to be a gentleman's game. The reason to say this is that i didn't got a start to write this lens and hence i wrote this line.
Cricket was always my passion. I wanted to be a cricketer but surroundings didn't gave me the support. And naturally my interest was a little less in that than before. But still I love cricket and watch every interesting match of my country.

Of course, the people who will read this will have a certain knowledge of what cricket is. But still who don't know what this game is all about, just forget it and take a look at the facts!

Sachin celebrates reaching a milestone

He has a number of records not only for India but also has almost all the world records. Here are some of those stats.

Another Interesting Fact

In 1964, an Indian bowler named Bapu Nadkarni bowled 21.5 overs(131 balls) without conceding a single run. This match was played against England in Madras(Chennai).

Who is the best(Talk about it)

Is Sachin Better than Sir Don Bradman

Loading

Yes Of Course! he has played against many bowlers while Bradman only played against four teams, isn't this a valid point?

TVishal says:

I have not seen Bradman play but i feel Sachin has done great job in adapting in all forms of Cricket and match conditions.

mellex says:

Yes, I don't know about statistically but for me, Sachin is better. Besides, I've been able to watch Sachin play a few times and I only got to walk around Sir Don's museum in Adelaide so for me, I prefer the player I can watch :-)

No! Though Sachin is a good player, he cannot match the talent of Bradman, especially the average of 99.94

georgetsaviel68 says:

Bradman has a better batting average than Sachin.

ChrisGray says:

Bradman = no helmet, uncovered pitches and less international cricket adversaries, therefore more dangerous, trickier conditions and better bowlers (sorry Bangladesh and Zimbabwe). Bradman for me, although Tendulkar was born to bat.

A horrible cricket fact

India is the only team who were dismissed twice in a single day of test match.

Underarm Incident

Greg Chappel instructed his brother Trevor Chappel to bowl an underarm delivery so that New Zealand couldn't win that one day match. New Zealand wanted 7 runs of the last delivery and Greg thought if the batsman hit a six of the final ball then it will be a tie and hence Greg Chappel told Trevor Chappel to bowl an underarm delivery thus precluding the possibility of Brian McKechnie(New Zealand Batsman) scoring the six which would have tied the game for New Zealand.

The underarm delivery was then banned from International Cricket.

Too early to tell, but England are building a strong young team. India have just received a bloody nose. I think that might sting them into action. Never count out SA and Oz. The Kiwis always show up for one dayers too. My answer then, is anyone really, and that's what makes the competition so good.

What a miserable start!!!!

Marvan Atapattu who has scored a record 6 double hundreds for Sri Lanka had a miserable debut in which he scored just 1 run from his first 6 innings(0,0,1,0,0,0). This is still considered as the the weirdest and worst debut by a player.
