7 Great Reasons to Homeschool Your Children

DISCOVER THE 7 AMAZING AND MOTIVATING REASONS TO TAKE PART IN SHAPING YOUR CHILD'S FUTURE

"A homeschooler who interacts with parents and siblings more than with peers displays self-confidence, self-respect, and self-worth. They knows they're a part of a family unit that needs, wants, and depends on them. The result is an independent thinker who isn't influenced by peers and is self-directed in her actions and thoughts."

Are you thinking about homeschooling your child(ren) but are not sure if it's going to be worth all the work? Well I have some great rewarding reasons why homeschooling is the way to go!

1. There are no negative influences from other children. These being bad language, drugs, peer pressures, and just negative behaviour.

2. YOU can watch your children blossom and learn more quickly. Teaching your children will be rewarding to you and will also create quality time together.

3. YOU know your children better than anyone else...therefore you know what pace to work with each individual child., who needs more help with certain areas, and who can afford to maybe skip a few steps.

4. YOU choose the curriculum that you think is important for your children to learn. Spend more time on the subjects that are important to you and your child's best interests. One child could be a math whiz and one an artist.

5. The classroom is in the comfort of your own home. Your children will be more comfortable in an environment they are familiar with and you will have the convenience of everything that you're used to having right at your fingertips. You will also be able to control what goes on during lessons, take field trips of your choice and will also have the power to change things up when you feel it's necessary. The possibilities are endless!

6. No more commuting = no gas expenses. Homeschooling could actually save you money! No scrambling to get your child ready for the bus because classes start at your convenience.

7. Your children are at home! You don't have to miss out on their childhood (which goes by way too fast), because they're stuck at school for 6 hours a day, every day, for 10 months out of the year! You get to spend quality time with your children. Something that you will never get back.

There you have it, some great reasons why you should really think about homeschooling your children. Since home education is becoming more widely practiced, school communities are becoming far more accepting. Professional educators are not the only people who know what our children need to prepare themselves for the future. Homeschooling teaches you that YOU are the expert. It makes a big difference for family members to know that they are the ones in control of their children's educations and their lives, and that they have real choices.
