Amazon Kindle E-Book Reader Review - Still #1!

My E-Book Reader Review: The Amazon Kindle Still Wins!

After owning both the 2nd and 3rd generation Amazon Kindle e-book readers over the last few years, the portability, features, and ease-of-use are still impressive. I spent hours reading reviews and comparing portable ebook readers, but always returned to the Kindle electronic reader. After enough hints, I received my first Kindle as a wedding gift and the newest generation Kindle as a Christmas gift. As a voracious reader, they have been the best gifts I've received.

What I Love About My Kindles

kindle touchWhat do I love about my Kindle? With so many features, I'll focus on my top five. First of all, the selection of downloadable books from Amazon is amazing--over 630,000 books! Plus, I can browse the Amazon Kindle Store with free 3G wireless and download books in seconds. Third, it is light and portable wherever I go. As a frequent traveler, I can take my entire library with me all in this compact, thin device. My carry-on luggage has gone from a backpack filled with books to a purse with my Kindle. My fourth favorite feature is the build-in pdf reader
. I used to have to read my e-books in pdf format on my computer, but now I take them with me on the go. Lastly, I use the highlighting and my notes feature to save my favorite passages and make notes to myself for future reference. No more flipping through hundreds of pages to find something!

The beauty of the Kindle E-Book Reader comes from it's simplicity. Designed with the on-the-go reader in mind, it is the definite winner in my book.
