The Amazon MP3 #1

Welcome! When you purchase single songs, you can download them directly via your web browser. When purchasing an album, Amazon requires the help of the use of the Amazon MP3 Downloader. Once you download it you get a disk image containing the installer in your top level applications folder. When you purchase full albums from Amazon, your browser downloads a ".amz file", it opens in Amazon MP3 Downloader. Amazon MP3 then begins downloading the tracks from the album. By default, tracks are stored in a new Amazon MP3 sub-folder inside the Music Folder in your home folder. The Amazon MP3 Downloader also opens the files in iTunes or Windows Media Player, importing them into your library, (assuming you have iTunes library) or into Windows Media Player on your computer. It's a "It just works factor"! Music is easy to find and buy, and easy to download once you have the Amazon MP3 Downloader. The songs sound great and come with high-resolution album art. Singles cost $.89 or $.99, and albums prices start as low as $4.99 - i.e. they've introduced variable pricing to sell music for less, not more, than the iTunes or Apple Stores. When you search for songs from artists whose entire catalog is not available through their MP3 store, Amazon provides a direct link to the artist's catalog in their CD store. All of the songs are DRM-free. While Amazon MP3 cannot claim to have the most songs, they might be able to claim the most DRM-free songs! You'll find plenty of songs in a short time at Amazon that are available from the iTunes Store with DMR. The Amazon MP3 Store's audio quality, prices and user experience are fantastic. I can't see why anyone would buy DMR-restricted music from iTunes that are available from Amazon, and the fact that Amazon is quite a bit cheaper then iTunes Plus, so you might as well check Amazon 1st. The Amazon MP3 Store is clearly the biggest and best in comparisons! They have eschewed DRM completely! The Amazon MP3 Module on Squidoo lenses: It is very easy to add to a lens with a click, select the music you want, and let others listen to your favorites. Who knows, people might just love it and want to buy it from your page. That's not unreasonable, because if people trust you and like you, they will make purchases from your lens.
