  • kaazoom Sep 10, 2011 @ 9:41 am | delete
Looks good. My only question is will the RSS content be picked up by the search engines?
  • thefluffanutta Sep 10, 2011 @ 4:41 pm | delete
Nope - the RSS module is rendered with Javascript, so search engines can't see them.
  • caffimages Aug 18, 2011 @ 4:59 pm | delete

  • charity7 Nov 24, 2010 @ 9:54 am | delete
Thanks for pointing that out! I thought that was only for blogs. You're a genius!
  • charity7 Nov 23, 2010 @ 8:49 pm | delete
Great lens. Could you please tell me which RSS module to use for these features. I only have RSS for blog and RSS mashup. But they only listed them in a text list. You can't enter a url in the text module, only html. Maybe you can add where to paste the url on the lens. Thanks for all you do!
  • thefluffanutta Nov 24, 2010 @ 8:55 am | delete
The regular "RSS: Add your blog" is the one you need, and you paste the RSS feed URL in there.
  • Gail47 Nov 22, 2010 @ 7:46 pm | delete

  • rtyndall Jan 20, 2010 @ 7:57 pm | delete
I can't get the RSS feed to work properly. I have a specific product in mind. I have no idea where to find the node. Pasting the url of the category I want doesn't work.
  • thefluffanutta Jan 21, 2010 @ 7:26 am | delete
if you look at the bottom of the product page, there's a section titled 'Look for Similar Items by Category' that lists various nodes where that product appears.

  • thefluffanutta Jul 29, 2008 @ 4:39 pm | delete
    Hi Christopher,
You need to make sure there are no spaces at the beginning or end of the URL. If there are, then Squidoo won't accept it.
    Give it another try...
    thefluffanutta
  • Christopher_J_Coulson Jul 29, 2008 @ 3:23 pm | delete
Hi, It's a great idea but I tried it using a list of ASINS and Squidoo didn't recognize my link as a RSS URL so didn't accept it.
  • poddys Jul 1, 2008 @ 8:00 pm | delete
This is really great. I am about to start using it myself, but based on the other utilities you have created that I use I have no doubt that it will do the trick perfectly. Thanks a lot. 5*****

thefluffanutta, Thanks for your reply! I'll check again! I do like to use this feature. Glad to hear it is still working. Must just be me.
  • thefluffanutta Dec 8, 2007 @ 2:34 pm | delete
The RSS Feeds are working fine for me - check that the Node, List or ASIN number is still valid, as Amazon do periodically change them.
  • dnuttall Dec 8, 2007 @ 2:09 pm | delete
I have not been able to get the Amazon RSS to work lately. I put it in my RSS module and it states no URL signified. Has anyone else had a problem? It was working up until a couple of days ago.
  • cscarpero Nov 14, 2007 @ 9:47 pm | delete
Wow, thanks for putting this together.

  • InvoluntaryGypsy Oct 12, 2007 @ 7:45 pm | delete
Oh my gosh, this is so much nicer than Squidoo's Amazon module. (Sorry, Squidoo.) I wish Squidoo would make theirs look better. I'm assuming that if this is used, Squidoo makes nothing from the commission? I'm torn between making a better looking lens and giving Squidoo their cut. What to do?
  • Oct 11, 2007 @ 11:44 am | delete
Wow! This is an exceptionally helpful tool! I'll almost certainly use it in most of my lens's!
  • Gordon_Hamilton Oct 10, 2007 @ 5:24 pm | delete
Another fantastic lens from an absolute master! This is an immediate high ranking new entry on my "things to do" list, as I am already an Amazon Affiliate.

    Thanks, fluffanutta.
  • thefluffanutta Oct 5, 2007 @ 2:24 am | delete
I'll write up a step by stepg guide for you, and post it in this lens. Check back here in a few days...
  • williamsford Oct 4, 2007 @ 9:32 pm | delete
I think this is absolutely fantastic but I do not have a clue of how to set this up! Would you give me some step by step instructions, please.
