Improved Amazon RSS Feeds for Squidoo
The Amazon RSS Feed generator on SquidUtils has been improved a little bit this week. If you're not familiar with this tool, it is a great way for Amazon Associates to feature the best or newest items on a lens.
Firstly, the feed preview now appears on the page itself, instead of opening a new window. This should hopefully reduce the clutter and confusion in your browser.
Secondly, there is now the option to see the Most Gifted and Most Wished For items within any category. Ideal for the holiday season.
Also, check out the new Amazon Banner Ads - yet another way to tempt your visitors to Amazon.
Amazon RSS Feeds - Improvements
The Amazon Feed Generator now has the option of left or right aligned images. The default is left aligned, but existing feeds will continue to have images on the right. To switch an existing feed from right to left, simply append "&align=left" to the URL in your RSS module.
On a related note, there is now a eBay Feed Generator - optimised for Squidoo lenses, this provides RSS feeds of auctions.
