Every song on Amazon MP3 is encoded at 256 kilobits per second, (256KBS), which gives customers high audio quality at a manageable file size. Many in the industry state this is comparable in quality to the Apple AAC codec used on iTunes, but with the advantage that there is no need to convert to MP3 and lose quality when wanting to transfer onto another player, assuming it is one of the few iTunes tracks that is DRM-Free.
