The Amazon tablet is due out around September time and there is no doubt that if we want to buy the New Amazon tablet 2011 when first released then we need to get on the pre-order list as soon as possible.

With the new Kindle 4 also out this year there sure is going to be a lot to choose from.

Amazon Tablet 2011

All rumors suggest that not only is the new Amazon tablet going to be released in 2011 but there are actually going to be 2 releases!

If all online rumors are to be believed then we are going to be getting both a 7 and 10 inch tablet, plenty to choose from.

The code names, Coyote and Hollywood, are currently being used and each tablet is different. The smaller version is going to be perfect for those that simply want a convenient Amazon tablet to do the usual things we do on such devices, email, audio, video etc. But the larger option is set to have great processing power for high quality video.

Amazon Tablet Features

With the larger Amazon tablet we should be able to get live streaming of HD video on demand if we get an Amazon Prime account. It is already available for anyone who pays for a Prime account, so you can get more than 5,000 videos streamed live, and all for free.

This is going to be amazingly popular for those that buy the larger Amazon tablet, no more need to pay for Netflix, simply hook up the tablet to the TV.

If that is not enough then there are plenty of other reasons why the Amazon tablet may well be more popular than the iPad 2.

Amazon Tablet Apps

With so many free apps from Amazon once they have a tablet of their own there is no doubt that this feature is going to be greatly expanded. The Amazon app store has already been a huge success and there is no doubt that this has been developed as a pre-cursor to being able to offer their apps for use on their own, "in-house" device.

Take a look at what is currently on offer, almost reason enough to buy an Amazon tablet on its own, let alone being able to get thousands of free movies and tv shows as well, this is going to be great!

The new Amazon tablet PC 2011 is certainly going to be amazingly popular. There is no doubt that it is going to give the iPad 2 a real run for its money. As discussed above the amazing features that are already on offer from Amazon such as free apps, free movies on demand and so much more, not to mention being able to transfer Kindle books to your Amazon tablet is going to make it a sure fire success.

The Amazon tablet for 2011 is going to also be more than affordable.

Amazon Tablet Release Date

Although nothing in this world is definite it does seem likely that by September we will have an Amazon tablet release. Whenever Amazon have a new release such as this there is a major backlog of orders and those that have not booked a place will find that it will then be months before new stock arrives and is shipped. And with the Amazon tablet due to be a rival to the Kindle in terms of sales numbers it is going to be hard to get when first available.

    Is Kindle Fire really a Tablet PC! Lacking a lot in features and giving a lot of media, the trade off is not that ballanced! Its really very interesting to see the ransformational nature of personal communication & computing technology in last 20 years.

    The analytical reasoning behind the evolution of netbooks to laptop & mobile phones to smartphones to tablet is nothing but the market force which driven the whole communication technology from miniaturization to functionality to large touch screen to portable & faster computing.

    Consumers of handheld communication devices in the whole world is currently devided in 3 main groups. The current market rockers are Kindle Fire from Amazon, iPad from Apple & Galaxy Tab from Samsung. Who will get the largest share of the pie entirely depends on the value proposition the product offers. Say, iPad2 is high priced & a highly feature loaded tablet. On the other hand, Kindle Fire is targeting low spenders who love to consume e-contents and dont bother about unlimited storage but bother about price.

    And the recent release of Samsung Galaxy Note is nothing but the merging of Tablets & Smartphones is cutting the growth of current hot sellers. This Hybrid product will lead the future of personal handheld device for a long time for sure.
