I Own a Lot of Amber
I'm a sucker for a sale if it is amber jewelry. I own several nice pieces that I bought from a friend's wife who is Russian. Most of the really great amber comes from Russia. I think that amber is beautiful! I own a mala of amber which is also the color of my primary goddess in Tibetan Buddhism referred to a Sherab Chamma or Wisdom Loving Mother. Great Amber on eBay

Cognac Amber Drop Earrings
Yeah, yeah, I know you can wear amber year-round, but there's just something about the color that reminds me of autumn leaves and windswept days.
This earrings are NICE, much, much nicer than in the picture. I've been an amber fan for a long time, and I have several pairs of earrings. There was just something about the shape of these earrings that was unusual, and the amber itself was really interesting (amber being a natural material.)
I was not disappointed! The earrings hang nicely off my earlobe, and for a change, they're very easy to see under my hair. The amber ovoid globe is a nice size, not tiny or chintzy, and the silver lever backs are pretty and sturdy. They hold the earrings on just fine.
