American Eagle Silver Dollars Features
Each American Eagle Silver Dollar contains 1 ounce of fine silver
Minted in .999 Fine Silver - Each American Eagle Silver Dollar is struck in 99.9% pure silver.
Official Legal Tender - As authorized by an act of Congress and signed by President Reagan, each American Eagle silver dollar is genuine legal tender with a $1 face value.
Guaranteed Silver Content - By law, each American Eagle Silver Dollar contains 1 ounce of fine silver.
Magnificent Designs - The obverse of each Silver Dollar features "Miss Liberty walking to the dawn of a new day" (or Walking Liberty), a design originally seen on early 20th Century Half Dollars. On the reverse is a "Spread Eagle" surrounded by the words "United States of America," 13 stars for the 13 colonies, and "1 oz. fine silver."

- Nice lens! The Silver American Eagle is definitely among the favourites. My dad used to collect coins and then passed it on to me while I was still in Goa. I haven't kept up with it since I moved, but I do have my collection stored safely somewhere I'll have trouble finding it ;)
