Kirsten Larson is an American Girl doll who isn't from America.
Her family immigrated to America from Sweden, and settled in Minnesota in 1854. In addition to having to learn a new language, she has to deal with new traditions and the uncertainty of living out on the frontier of the young country. She is one of the three original American Girl historical dolls, along with Molly and Samantha.
She is being retired to the American Girl Archives to make room for new dolls in the future, so you should get her while you can!

- yes! Kirsten was my favorite, but that's because we share the same name! I got a Kirsten doll when I was 10 years old - best birthday ever!
