- My sons introduced my husband and me to Gaiman's work, including "American Gods". We both loved the book, and have gone on to read some of his other work (Coraline was delightfully creepy :-) )

- I was very interested in the topic when I bought the book. But overall, I thought it was just "weird." You did a good job of explaining it, if that is even possible. Weird, that's the only thought that keeps coming to mind.
5* though for presentation and enthusiasm.

- LOL - I'm a Gaiman-addict and he can do very little wrong for me, so I admit to being biaised, but I loved American Gods :)
I loved the mix of so many diverse mythologies (some of which were new to me) and the concept that Gods die when belief stops...it's a thought provoking and entertaining book and Gaiman is a superb storyteller - but "one man's meat is another man's poision"!

- I truly did enjoy "American Gods". No one can craft a story like Gaiman. Good job!

- I have read this book (its a thick one) and have also listened to the audio book version. Loved it. I highly recommend anything from Gaiman. I was first introduced to him in the 80s with DC Comics The Sandman.

- Gee thanks....add another 'must read' to my list will ya?
This reminds me of a cross between Douglas Adams' 'Long Dark Tea Time Of The Soul' and Donald Westlake's (much shorter title) 'Humans'.
^5 and You Rock!
