Out of American Idol and Dancing With the Stars, which is the better show?

I used to just watch American Idol, but now I watch them both. This is a tough question, but I will stick with American Idol as I've been watching it longer... but now that Simon is leaving the show, I don't know if it will be any good!

I need a show I can "watch" without having to actually look at it. I watch most of my TV while cleaning, cooking, or on the computer, so I need something that I can listen to and glance at...Dancing requires too much attention.

I enjoy both but probably prefer DWTS right now. Great lens - I'll try and feature it more on my DWTS lenses.

you are just getting better indeed! American Idol is good but Dancing with the stars is entertaining.. im stuck!!

My husband and I absolutely love American Idol......but once it was over, we started watching "Dancing With The Stars" (good marketing putting them back to back:-) Its fun to watch too!
