ANTIQUES
Bringing other peoples antiques and history to light.
Bringing history back to life one pick at a time.
A way of seeing history rediscovered by Frank and Mike going through other people's junk.
You don't know how something get to where it is today without seeing where it came from.
Seeing the evolution of items like the bicycle, motorcycle, old advertising etc...
This isn't your grandmother's antiquing. Pickers like Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz are on a mission to recycle America, even if it means diving into countless piles of grimy junk or getting chased off a gun-wielding homeowner's land. Hitting back roads from coast to coast, the two men earn a living by restoring forgotten relics to their former glory, transforming one person's trash into another's treasure. American Pickers follows them as they scour the country for hidden gems in junkyards, basements, garages and barns, meeting quirky characters and hearing their amazing stories. If you think the antique business is all about upscale boutiques and buttoned-up dealers, this show may change your mind--and teach you a thing or two about American history along the way.

- Congrads on your Squidoo level 61. Yep, don't watch this tv show, but love local pickers in bluegrass, blues, and folk music styles of today and yesterday. Conversations helps with new ideas. Thanks.

- Great post and I do agree I'm always interested to see where things come from as well as how it ended up there. I know that my grandmother always had some awesome things from along time ago which had my interest. I never miss a show using my Sling adapter which gives me TV everywhere. I have this connected to my employee service with DISH and use an iPad to watch my content. This has allowed me to watch my American Pickers recordings or catch them live when I can. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have this flexibility to watch my shows on my time.
