American Eskimo Dogs are white or white & biscuit cream with brown eyes.

Exercise

It should be walked regularly and if possible exercised in an enclosed area without a leash.

Grooming

The eskie should be brushed at least once per week due to its long dense coat.

They have quite dry skin and should not be bathed more often than evry 2-3 months.

Health

With an average lifespan of 12-14 years. Some american eskimo dogs have been known to live up to 20 years.

height 9-12 inches
weight 6-10 pounds

height 12-15 inches
weight 10-20 pounds

Standard
height 15-19 inches
weight 18-35 pounds

Temperament

As a companion dog. The eskimo dog thrives well with a human family.

They a very protective dogs, but do not generally attack or bite.

Training

Eskies should be stimulated through obedience training and dog sports to avoid behaviour issues.
