American Express Clear Credit Card Review
This Squidoo lens is my personal review of the Clear card from American Express. I own and operate a credit card website that rates and reviews hundreds of credit cards. I try to make it easy to apply for a credit card by listing the best features of each and how they compare to other cards.

Clear Reward Program
The Clear card offers 1% cash back on all purchases. After you have spent $2,500.00 in purchases you will receive a $25.00 American Express shopping card. These gift cards expire one year after being issued so spend them quickly.
The biggest reward of this card is it's no fees feature. The card comes with no annual, no balance transfer, no cash advance, no late, and no over the limit fees. As long as you make the minimum payment every month.
If you fail to make two minimum payments on time in a 12 month period your interest rate will be raised to 21.99% plus the prime rate.

Who This Card is For
The 1% cash reward on purchases is easily beaten by many other credit cards with higher cash back percentages. If you are looking for a credit card for a cash back reward you should apply for a different card.
I think the American Express Clear card is average. It's regular interest rate is decent but isn't spectacular. The 1% cash back is okay but is easily beaten by several cards.
This credit card is for people who want to have a credit card with no fees. If you aren't impressed with the no fees features you should apply for a credit card that has features you are interested in.
