America's Patriotic Home
MJ's Depot has been operating for over 18 years and is currently based in Hawthorne, NV, known as "America's Patriotic Home". It is home to a military depot. Every year on the third Saturday in May there is a huge Armed Forces Day celebration, complete with a parade, dance, carnival, and fireworks. It is home to a giant 79 foot by 40 foot American flag located at Veteran's Memorial Park. Armed Forces Day is celebrated in a big way in Hawthorne, Nevada. There are parades, fireworks, flying a big flag, and lots of other activities planned for the third weekend in May. This is done to honor those who fight to protect our country.

Be Prepared with a Light Load Towel
Light load towels are a wonderful preparedness tool. They come in three sizes--hand towel, bath towel or beach towel sizes. They are sealed in small waterproof packages that fit in a pocket or glove compartment or backpack easily. If you got caught in an unexpected rainstorm, pull out a towel and wipe yourself off. Forgot your towel when you went swimming. Pull out a beach towel and you're soon dried off. You can machine wash and reuse the towels, though you won't be able to squeeze them back into the compact size they were to begin with. The towels are super absorbent, and they are biodegradable.
