Cut Back on Salt for a Heart Healthy Diet
Excessive sodium in the form of table salt is not good for the electrolyte balance that helps to regulate nerve impulses in the healthy heart. Since almost all foods contain salt, it is nearly impossible to have a sodium deficiency. Once you go without "extra" sallt for a while, you will find that you don't even miss it!
