- Great stuff.. I love Dogfishhead beers. We lived in Delray for 13 yrs and now in Asheville - which just received recognition as the #1 beer city - Beer City USA. Well, we tied dead on with Portland. Microbrews are the thing around here.

- Coors light is a great "bar" beer, but Deschutes (OR) Black Butte Porter is my favorite. We are kinda spoiled with good stuff here in the PNW.

- Two of my favorite beers are Old Church Pale Ale from Bray's Brew Pub in Naples, Maine and the Champion Reserve IPA from the Seven Barrell Brewery in West Lebanon, NH. As you can tell I love the hoppy ones!!! P.S. Any Budweiser, Miller and Coors product should be shipped to Iraq and Afganistan....not for the soldiers of course......piss.....Viva the Ale

- Hey lexxi. Here, here! I'm in agreement with you on the high recommendation for the Rogue Chocolate Stout. Stouts are one of my favs. I've jotted down a few microbrew reviews on stouts also. Hope it's cool with you I added you to my lensroll. Cheers!

- I think that it past time that America/American beers are judged by their best beer offerings. This happens to be in our GREAT micro brews around America. Our finest beers are NOT the large brand names with ball parks and dull comercials about what a real beer is, and it is not "miller time" for me at any time. I raise a mug to such great brews as Rogue, Leinenkugel and other such beers. Support your local microbrewery. Here's to 'em.

- Hey Lexxi,
I'm right with you when it comes to enjoying real, well-crafted beer. Style doesn't matter as long as it's created to taste like a barley/hops concoction and not a watered down, fizzy yellow swill for the mass-marketed masses. I've tried to highlight those beers I've tried, the best I could at microbrew reviews. Please feel free to stop over sometime and rate my lens if you have the time. Great lens to you!

- I went without a brew for 14 years!! I have a sinus condition, and I didn't know that what was triggering my headaches were all the impurities that the big breweries put in their beer.
Coors light, even before I did get the headaches, I considered nothing more than swill. Now I am MUCH more choosy, I actually have attained a pallite. I "broke my cherry" at Victory Brewery in Downingtown, PA. Oh, that first one...I actually cried...no lie!
The beer you have pictured on the home page for Dogfish Head, another brewery which I have visited, is the Chicory Stout. It must be tasted to be believed! Another Delaware brewery, Twin Lakes, only sells their brew in kegs. It is SO pure, it's like an angel dancing on the tip of your tongue. I'm convinced it's a sin to swallow it, it tastes so good!
I love your site, and oh, yes, I've had Arrogant Bastard as well. POW! Great stuff.
I'd like to list them all, but there is only 1000 characters available. More to come.
Ciao!

- Hi lexxi, really cool lens you've put together here. Sounds like we're in the same boat for passion of the microbrew. I gave it 5 stars and added to my LensRoll if that's okay. Please rate my lens sometime if you can at Microbrew Review
